Wake up America, it isn't just black women for whom Republicans have disdain. The conservative GOP have disdain for all women--black, white, brown, red, yellow. In another transparent display of the GOP's disdain for women, a Republican Super PAC has put out a new online "game" where the supporters are asked to slap Hillary Clinton across the face.
The Super PAC is known as The Hillary Project. It is an anti-Hillary Clinton group that lists Christopher M. Marston--a Republican campaign consultant as its treasurer and a former member of the Bush administration.
This Conservative Republican Super PAC proudly promotes the game via emails they unasbashedly sign as "The Slap Hillary Team", with the question: "Have You slapped Hillary today?
If you are a woman, regardless of whether you Republican or Democrat; liberal, conservative, or somewhere in between- if you are not disgusted and outraged by this type of sophomoric humor by simple minded but scary adult human beings, something is wrong with your moral compass and with your identity as a woman.
And if you are made more angry by the statement above than you are by the "game" offered by "the Slap Hillary Team's" then you more than prove the point.
This "game" is offensive and sexist. But what does one expect of an obstructionist conservative political party whose face and major mouthpiece is the vilely sexist Rush Limbaugh?
Violence against women is not a joke. A woman is assaulted or beaten every 9 Seconds in your United States Of America. More than three women are murdered every day by their partners or boyfriends. When we excuse "games" that make fun of abusing women, we perpetuate a culture that says that violence against women is OK and sometimes funny. Really, America?
The vast majority of Congressional Republicans voted against reauthorizing the landmark Violence Against Women Act--130 of them in the House alone. And now a Republican Super PAC is actually advocating violence against women.
Is this the kind of America that mothers and fathers want for their daughters? America's womens need to make a clear statement to conservative Republicans that violence against mothers, their daughters, and granddaughters is not funny.
It time to vote sexist conservative Republicans out of office. This means most conservative men and some conservative women have go to go. If you vote these people into office, by your actions you yourself condone and preserve violence against women in every shape, form, and fashion.
Why would you do that?
