Real Christians must always be aware that the sources of evil also want the servants of evil to be happy. Theirs, too, is a relationship of faith. If the sources of evil reward behavior that alienate us from God, many people will repeat those behaviors. It is one of the products of the flaw in our human design that too many of God's children fail to overcome.
Destructive self-serving thoughts borne of sin and evil intent, and the decadent behavior borne of those thoughts, widen the gulf between us and God. It also moves us closer to earthly beliefs, politics, religions, and other wordly forces that are antagonistic to God and to our human existence. This propels our race more quickly towards the Divine Extinction of humankind for failing the experimental trials of our species.
God will not compete with evil to secure our allegiance to Him. God will not honor prayers that require Him to compete with the attractions of evil that negate our ability to maintain symbiotic intimacy with Him. But on this point we do not equivocate; God wants Eve's Daughters and the rest of God's Children to be happy. He also wants Eve's Children to honor and praise Him, to acknowledge His Power, and to demonstrate an appreciation for the rest of His Creations--especially for His Human Creations and for the Garden in which He placed us. The servants of evil, lies, incivility, hate, division, greed, and pollution may reward you for behavior that creates those six demons of our species, but our Symbiotic God of Creation will not.
We are to worship the Lord God of Creation and, as the Psalmist proclaimed, glorify His Name. God will grant the magnificent gifts of Symbiotic Grace and the happiness that comes with it, if we share Symbiotic Intimacy with Him and with ourselves via the wisdom of Eve's Simple Realities.
And God answers prayers conditionally. God answers prayers that are part of our commitment to do His Will--to live our lives by the standards of Eve's Simple Realities , to worship Him, and to commune with Him. However, we cannot trick God. Nor will God barter with us. We cannot successfully entreat God to answer our prayers as payoffs for works done in His Name.
God created us to commune with Him. We cannot have communion with God without prayer. We cannot be valuable symbionts of God without prayer. A condition of our prayer relationship with our Creator God is that asking God for favors should not be the exclusive use of prayer. We should invoke that kind of prayer the least. God knows when His Symbionts have special needs.
But sometimes it is appropriate for us to pray to God for Special Favors. If we must pray to God for special favors, some conditions should attend to our prayers. We will review these conditions in our next post. When you review these conditions, remember that one of God's awesome power is His Authority over energy. He imbues us with it in various forms as gifts and rewards for keeping The Ten Commandments and for living lives guided by Eve's Simple Realities.
